National Federation of Tertiary Sector ATECA

The National Federation of Tertiary Sector Workers (FNAT for short ) represents and operates nationwide, within its own specific category, as an employers' union directly and exclusively emanating from the Tertiary Sector Workers, Traders, Artisans and Farmers Association.

ATECA – Terziario has the following institutional objectives:

  • to represent the corporate and professional interests of businesses of any legal nature, cooperatives, artisans, and all those who carry out freelance professional activities, whether individually, in associations, or as part of a corporate entity, as well as associations, foundations, and public and private entities of any nature;
  • protect members and associates in trade union proceedings and in collective and individual labor disputes, both in and out of court;
  • develop any initiative aimed at representation, free training, technical-professional development, and the protection of the rights of businesses, professionals, and all its members;
  • To study and resolve all economic, mutualistic, technical, and employer-related issues affecting the tertiary sector, small industry, commerce, tourism, entertainment, crafts, services, agriculture, and professional work in general, and in particular to work towards the creation of comprehensive and orderly legislation for the aforementioned sectors;
  • promote, coordinate, and unify the individual initiatives of businesses and employers in all production and professional sectors, with particular reference to the tertiary sector, including professionals for whom there are no specific professional registers or orders, each carrying out business activities with their own organizational specificities;
  • Provide qualifying training programs, professional development courses, refresher courses, roundtables, seminars, and conferences for their members and industry professionals, as well as develop all training, services, and consulting activities in any area deemed necessary, useful, or otherwise of interest to the individual member or any associated organizations to which the individual institution belongs. Conduct and organize training activities in collaboration with ATECA or through its affiliated entities and/or directly affiliated entities, in the specific business sector referred to in the ATECO codes indicated in legislation and in State-Regional agreements;
  • join, subscribe to, participate through collaboration agreements, conventions, memoranda of understanding, share subscriptions, or the establishment of temporary special purpose or business entities with any public or private legal entity that does not conflict with the membership goals and objectives, subject to authorization from the ATECA Employers' Union Association;
  • Promote and implement any initiative aimed at providing assistance in solving problems and fulfilling obligations related to the organization, management, and development of businesses, including training, information, and assistance in tax, social welfare, administrative, credit, and insurance matters, as well as in any other areas deemed necessary for the development of business and professional activities;
